Landwrap 4 VM
Layers ... worn, torn, ripped, creased, bent, scraped, sanded, stapled, glued, painted, stained and inked. Each scrap of vintage paper just as precious and and poignant as the other. Using collage, acrylic, and ink, I represented the chaos and order of nature and life. My use of vintage news print gives it a sense of time, suggesting narratives buried in the past, yet bursting with relevance.
